Liverpool have secured their fifth European Cup after a dramatic comeback against AC Milan in Istanbul.
The Reds found themselves 3-0 down at half-time but fought back to level the match through goals from Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso.
The match went to a penalty shoot-out, which Liverpool won 3-2.
It is the first time that Liverpool have won the European Cup since 1984 and it is the first time that an English club has won the trophy since Manchester United in 1999.
