The joke was that we would create this fictitious heritage for her to make her more relatable. I apologize if this was not clear and I take full responsibility for any confusion that this may have caused."

Baldwin also shared a post from a Rust crew member, denying reports of unsafe conditions on set. The post included a statement from the crew member, who said, "We feel deeply that the prosecution of Mr. Baldwin is not only unnecessary, but will also have a chilling effect on filmmakers everywhere."
