Director James Cameron has revealed that the highly anticipated "Avatar 3" will introduce a clan of Evil Fire Navi, a stark contrast to the water-dwelling Metkayina featured in "Avatar: The Way of Water." The announcement came alongside the reveal of several new cast additions.

Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh, known for her roles in "Crazy Rich Asians" and "Everything Everywhere All at Once," will join the franchise as Dr. Karina Mogue. Oona Chaplin, best known for her performances in "Game of Thrones" and "Taboo," will portray Varang, while David Thewlis, famed for his work in the "Harry Potter" series and "Wonder Woman," will play Peylak.

Yeoh's character, Dr. Mogue, is a brilliant marine biologist who studies the Na'vi. Varang, played by Chaplin, is a fierce and respected warrior from the Fire Navi clan. Thewlis's Peylak is described as a compassionate leader who seeks to bridge the gap between the Fire Navi and other clans.
